What does one do when one is stuck at home? Well this one here, i.e. moi, surfs the internet a little more than usual. When the kids are watching DVDs, of which they are doing more than usual as well. Sigh.

P/S: Latest update, Hubby-jr has recovered from HFMD but Little Missy got infected a few days ago and so the house arrest has yet to be lifted. Two kids trapped at home. Huge sigh.

No, no, no! Before you jump to any conclusions, no, I am NOT having another baby. I am, however, posting about babies. Again. Sorry (why am I apologizing?! I’ve no idea!) It is still one of Hubby-jr’s obsession. As such the topic has is brought up again and again. And again. And that folks, is why I’m writing another post on babies.

I’d like to think that this will be the last of it but I seriously doubt it. Hubby-jr curiosity about babies has not waned a single bit. On the contrary it seems to be growing. I showed him a photo album of his baby photos and he drove me bonkers with his endless questions!

One fine weekend hubby came in the line of fire questions instead. I must say hubby handled it wonderfully. He sought help.  (No, not from me, he’s smart enough to avoid a life threatening situation.) He went to the internet!

Hubby and I are fans of the christian artistes, Phillips, Craig and Dean but somehow we missed their rendition of this song – When God Ran. It was not until just a few days ago when hubby stumbled on it on the internet that we heard it for the first time.

And. We. Just. LOVE. it!

It is a very powerful song of God’s faithfulness, grace and unfailing love even when we are unfaithful. The Father and the prodigal son from the son’s point of view. Watch the video below for a live performance.

I truly, truly set out to blog more faithfully this month after an abysmal one post in November. And I was starting to do well too, wasn’t I?

But, then…

I decided to reorganise my kids rooms (I finally gave Little Missy a bed and stowed her “playpen bed” away). With that I had to do some major spring cleaning (both rooms and my store room). Now it’s about 90% done (for now at least).

So…

My apologies to those of you who drop by faithfully (for the lack of posts lately). 

But…

At the sametime I also want to say a great big THANK YOU for staying interested in what I have to write. It is a wonderful encouragement to me, I appreciate your audience.

Having said that,

I’ll probably be silent for the rest of this week too. Sorry, it is Christmas and after that we’ll be away on a retreat.

More than a year ago I wrote about The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle as one of Hubby-jr’s favourite book. So when we found out that there was going to be a arts adaptation of the book, there was no way we did not go. And go we did. Last night. 

We loved it. All of us. Hubby included.

Performed by the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, the illustrations from three of Eric Carle’s books vividly came to life on stage against the backdrop of black light. The kids had a ball, they laughed, cheered and clapped. Not just mine but all the kids present. (For more info on their show here in Singapore click here.)

I am so glad we managed to get tickets! It was selling like hot cakes.

Still riding on The Very Hungry Caterpillar fever, hubby found this lovely video on Youtube. Though it is not quite the same as the performance last night, the video is still worth checking out.
